Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School Gymnasium VICTORIA

Stantec and McBride Charles Ryan have delivered Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School Gymnasium and Events Centre. A multipurpose space for health and fitness, as well as whole school events. The visually unique building contains a brick-tiled curved façade and a striking lighting design.

A combination of WE-EF ETC inground luminaires and FLC projectors are utilised throughout the external facets of the building. This lighting scheme highlights the effectiveness of minimal fittings and its ability to create a powerful impact. The lighting interplays with the structural elements of the façade, creating a strong emphasis on the architecture and visual hierarchy of the space.
