Buckford Illumination Group SA collaborated with Adelaide City Council and Bestec to implement a new lighting scheme for the established Jeffcott Street in Adelaide. The bustling street, cherished by its residents for its leafy charm, was in need of a LED lighting upgrade due to diminishing light levels caused by outdated technology.
The local residents were protective of their historic street, and any improvements needed to be sensitive to maintaining the neighborhood’s character. Additionally, glare into nearby homes caused by the lighting was a concern that needed to be addressed. With these considerations in mind, Buckford Illumination Group SA supplied WE-EF Lighting’s ASP530 series, preserving the area’s heritage features and delivering a solution that successfully eliminated obtrusive light to the neighbors while providing improved lighting levels. The lighting upgrade not only enhances safety but also creates a more comfortable and visually pleasing environment for residents and passersby.
