101 Collins St – Wellness Centre VICTORIA

101 Collins St – Wellness Centre is an internal oasis unexpectedly found two storeys underground. Glowing Structures successfully formed a sense of daylight in what was previously a basement car park through cracks of light and a moving “water wall” created with dynamic theatrical lighting.

The space is transformed into a light and bright biophilic sanctuary utilising ERCO luminaires throughout. The light through the greenery creates an interplay of shadows and an array of leaf patterns to bring the outside within. The lighting intends to enhance the architectural and interior design whilst creating an essence of wellness through warmth and relaxation. However, each respective space including the lounge, changing room and entry were treated differently with a combination of colour temperatures to define the use of each area.
