International Women’s Day
To mark International Women’s Day on Saturday 8 March, Buckford Illumination Group attended Engineers Australia’s events in Melbourne and Sydney for a celebration of empowerment and progress.
Keynote speaker Captain Mona Shindy CSC, a retired Naval officer with over 30 years of military and business experience, explored this year’s theme, hashtagMarchForward, sharing insights from her trailblazing career in traditionally male-dominated industries.
Mona’s story of courage, resilience, and strategic leadership highlighted how innovation and emotional intelligence can drive success. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our clients and industry peers passionate about breaking barriers and fostering inclusivity.
