Port Lincoln Tuna Poler

Jensen PLUS

The Port Lincoln Tuna Poler is a one tonne bronze sculpture by sculpture artist, Ken Martin. The sculpture, installed on the Port Lincoln Foreshore is an acknowledgement of fishing pioneers during the twentieth century. The Tuna Polers were a dynamic community that brought upon the establishment of the internationally recognised fishing industry in Port Lincoln.

Fitted within the elevated platform that the sculpture sits upon are ERCO luminaires. The ERCO Tesis Round inground uplights the Tuna Poler, capturing the strain and effort presented in his facial expression. The addition of the Tuna Poler Sculpture in Port Lincoln foreshore brings the public space to life by celebrating the stories of the local community, day and night.
