Known as ‘the Lantern’, 405 Bourke St is a luminous addition to Melbourne’s CBD. Buckford supplied WE-EF FLC230-TW fittings, which integrate into the top and base of the glass façade. The interaction between the glass and the luminaires delivers a visually glowing effect, adding a sense of sophistication and liveliness to this iconic street.

During the day the natural light brings a sense of the outside into the building, and gradually when the daylights disappears the tuneable white façade becomes a beacon of the streetscape.
